Petition Action

Legalise electric transport vehicles by updating “highway 1835 carriage Act”

Petition Details

The UK is the only large European contributor to prevent and hinder innovation of transport; with growing technological advances; electric power is becoming a solution for short trips across the city, reducing pollution and reducing the amount of cars within our streets.

Additional Information

Cities around the world are already reaping the benefits of innovative forms of transport such as electric scooters; with an industry valued at 1.8 Billion.

Electric scooter hire is already implemented in cities as Madrid, Paris, Prague; and legalised in Germany.

With such a stance on cutting down pollution; why is the UK lacking behind major countries? - pollution levels in our country is rising; leading to increased tolls, tax and drain on the NHS.

Don’t prevent the future; innovate.
