Prison for tax-avoiding ceo's.
CEO's of corporations should face prison for the detriment to the Uk tax-budget flow they are causing.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
Tax avoidance is legal activity used to reduce a tax bill. People can't be prosecuted for something that is legal.
Tax evasion is illegal activity to reduce a tax bill. People can be prosecuted and sentenced to prison for tax evasion. The sentence they get is the responsibility of the courts, which are independent of the UK Government and Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling for the law to be changed to ensure minimum custodial sentences for heads of organisations convicted of tax avoidance if that is something you would like to see happen.
