Petition Action

Give UK women in full-time education/on benefits to receive free sanitary wear.

Petition Details

In Kelmscott Secondary School, our group of Youth Health Champions and Team London Ambassadors have been campaigning since September to put a stop to period poverty by organising a campaign named Drip 16, involving producing a government funded P-Card (Period Card) that gives out free sanitary wear.

Additional Information

We want feminine product manufacturers to donate products to domestic violence refuges, charities supporting homeless women and girls and the donations to be made in the UK. The campaign is dedicated to focusing on the aid of women on means tested benefits as well as girls within full time education residing in the United Kingdom. Once this has been achieved, we wish to broaden our assistance towards all kinds of women in need and suffering from period poverty within the UK.
