Petition Action

A law to force a General Election when a Prime minister leaves the post

Petition Details

In the event of the incumbent Prime minister leaving the post for any reason and a new leader of the party being selected they should not automatically become Prime minister as they will not have been elected democratically by the country. There should be a law that ensures a General election.
