Fast-track British Citizenship for Irish Citizens resident in the UK.
The UK and Ireland already share a Common Travel Area. Culturally, the countries share many similarities. It is appropriate that a Fast-Track application process for Irish citizens resident in the UK be introduced for those seeking British naturalisation and citizenship.
The notion of someone from Dublin, now residing in Manchester, being forced to sit a Life in the UK exam is clearly ridiculous, as is any requirement to pass an English language test.
