Amend The Highways Act of 1835
The use of PLEVs will be of great benefit to people with reduced mobility who are require some assistance but are not at a point where a full mobility scooter is required.
They will also reduce the number of local commutes with motor vehicles thereby reducing pollution.
This partition is to ask the government to change the law so that PLEV's (Electronic/Electric Scooters) can be ridden in public areas. Currently they are banned from both Pavements and Roads. PLEVs are a cost effective environmentally friendly emission free way of getting around a town or city.
