Legislate a statutory mechanism so the Speaker of the House can be removed.
The position of the speaker of the House of Commons is politically unassailable and as made evident holds too much power over the business of the house. Parliment must have the power by significant majority to remove the Speaker.
We seek that MPs be given the right by majority voting to suspend the Sitting Speaker by Statutory Instrument. Statutory instrument to be provided by Cabinet decision and enforced by Parlimentary majority. Parliment must have the right to suspend the Speaker of the House of Commons and appointed another.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The Speaker of the House of Commons can already be removed with a majority vote in the House of Commons.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
