Declare a public vote of no confidence in John bercow as speaker of the house

Petition Details

The speaker should be impartial and without his own motives/agenda and John bercow clearly has a problem with brexit and needs to go so we can help get brexit done.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for people to be sacked or to resign.

In any case, the resignation of the Speaker is a personal decision for the Speaker, and is therefore not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
