Ban the gruesome slaughtering of whales and dolphins in the Faroe Islands.
The headline of the article I saw today was "Sea turns red with blood as pod of 200 pilot whales and 40 dolphins are slaughtered for their meat in the remote Faroe Islands" - how is this still acceptable in today's society! Something needs to be done to stop this!
Every summer 800 whales and dolphins are slaughtered brutally for their meat! This is inhumane and should be stopped!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The UK Government aren't responsible for the Faroe Islands.
You could start a petition asking the Government to put pressure on the Faroe Islands Government to ban whaling, if that is what you would like to see happen.
