Funding to save the Spix Macaw a species that is now extinct in the wild.
The Spix Macaw is an exotic Brazilian bird but due to deforestation now only lives in captivity. This bird is depicted in the film Rio. It’s important that we protect this species because they have a major role in seed dispersal around the tropical rainforests and is the life and soul of the canopy.
