Support me in making August 10th a day when everyone reduces their CO2 emissions

Petition Details

I want to make August 10th a day where everyone reduces their carbon dioxide emissions, to try and mitigate global warming. This could be by not eating meat for the day, turning of lights and appliances when not in use or even turning the heating down one degree can make a massive impact!

Additional Information

In order to make this day possible, I need to be supported and for the news to be spread. As many people must know as possible.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

This petition seems to be calling on members of the public to take action and not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government and Parliament to do.
