Protect the rights of LGBTQ+ People from harmful far right views and hatred.
50 years ago, Stonewall took place. Since then those of us have slowly started growing less fearful and distrustful of society with our protection and rights being assured.
Stop us being erased, protect us from harm and bigotry, allow us to feel safe and welcome. Ensure our rights remain equal!
We are harmful to no one, we are responsible members of society, we serve in the military, we contribute, we are parents and we have the same right to exist as anyone else.
The rise in far right, almost fanatical beliefs is a human rights disgrace. Shielded under the view of a right to religious view or personal opinion, but clearly the true colours of thinly veiled contempt and blatant hatred.
Would it be tolerated if the actions were mirrored back with a similar fervour and intensity? ...

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
