Amend the Misuse of Drugs Schedule for HEMP CANNABIS
Hemp and cannabis legislation in the UK is inadequate and behind industry development. Make hemp products containing trace amounts of THC at levels not greater than 0.2 % Exempt from the misuse of drugs act. Amend the Misuse of Drugs Schedule. Bring the UK in line with current EU Regulations.
Due to legislative grey area, many CBD shops and cafes have recently been raided, pushing law-abiding businesses and families to the brink. Further to this, people from every county of the UK look to natural CBD products to relieve many conditions, ranging from minor to serious, physical to mental-health related.
A number of shops and business's are under investigation because of the Misuse of Drugs act across the UK. Having the public scared to buy or trade HEMP or CBD products thinking they are all now illegal. Bring the UK in line with current EU Regulations (Jan 2019) and indeed its very own Department of Health Legislation.
