To confirm that any trade deal with the US removes any reference to NHS services
There have been clear statements Fromm President of United States of America that any trade deal with the US should include services provided by NHS. The NHS was formed to provide healthcare free at point of delivery regardless of ability of pay and this core principle should be maintained.
No political party manifesto discussed placing the NHS on the table as part of any trade deal and as such a new election would be required prior to this decision being made.
