The NHS should not be included in any trade deal with the United States.
Following the statements of US President Donald Trump on Tuesday 4th June 2019. The UK Government should respond in the affirmative that the NHS or any of its associative organisations are not to be included in any trade deal in part or in full, regardless of any outcome following Brexit.
On Tuesday 4th June 2019 during a press conference, the President of the United States announced that the NHS would be included in a potential trade deal, between the UK and USA. This echoes a similar statement that was made by US Ambassador, Woody Johnson on the Andrew Marr show.
The UK Government should pass legislation to ensure that the NHS is an immutable and unalterable part of this country, and that it should not be surrendered, divided nor used as bargaining power in any negotiation.
