Make large businesses link their lights to motion sensors not leave them on 24/7
Change all business lighting to motion sensor-linked lighting. Many large businesses leave vast numbers of lights on overnight, burning thousands of kilowatt hours of electricity, needlessly adding huge amounts of CO2 to the carbon burden of the UK.
If all business lights were linked to motion sensors, this problem could be remedied without affecting employees who tend to work late. This is a relatively easy step to take in order to aid the uk in pushing towards carbon neutrality before 2050.
