Petition Details

Any driver who drives their car over the speed limit on any road must get an immediate ban - warning should not be given
Public safety is first no matter also we want the council and police to install more speed cameras on 20 speed limit roads.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions which call for actions that are the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament. Installation of speed cameras on residential roads is a matter for local highways authorities, usually local councils.

You could raise the issue with a local councillor who represents you. You can find your local councillors here:

You could start a new petition which calls for a clear action that is the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament. For example, a petition which calls for reform of the speeding penalties system so that all drivers found guilty of speeding receive a ban from driving.
