Plastic Glitter cannot be recycled. It ends up in our seas and atmosphere, and in our marine life and in our rivers.
Scientists in the UK have reported that plastic was found in a third of UK caught fish.
Most Glitter is made up of aluminium and plastic referred to as PET. Scientists have investigated how PET can break down to release chemicals that disrupt hormones in the bodies of animals and humans
