Add an additional Bank Holiday on 8/5/20 rather than moving it from 4/5/20
There is less than a year before the change to this bank holiday. Many people will have booked holidays or made arrangements based on not having to work on the 4th May. This could lead to cancellations of travel or needing to take unpaid leave from work. This doesn’t appear To be considered.
As usual the government are trying to appear politically correct rather than actually considering the needs of working people.
