Start mass manufacture of a new brand of cars in the UK using British steel.
Overseas car manufactures are closing or have closed their factories here. British steel is in need of support. Combine the two and we could secure 1,000's of jobs now and provide a future for many more if we get behind the idea.
We have the skilled workforce, there in place now. The idea just needs your backing and the support of the UK Government. Please support this petition before it is too late!

We can't accept your petition because manufacturing cars is not something that the UK Government is responsible for. This would be a decision for manufacturing companies.
You could start a new petition calling for the Government to take ownership of, or nationalise, the UK automotive industry if that is something you would like to see happen.
