Condemn use of force in Sudan and take action to support a civilian government
British government to condemn in the strongest terms the use of lethal force, against the pro-democracy protesters in Sudan. We further request that it pressure on the transitional Military Council to support Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors, demands for a civilian-led government.
The worst massacre of civilians occurred on Monday after the dictators Omar al-Bashir was ousted nearly two months ago, more than 200 people, including children, were reportedly killed and hundreds more wounded on Monday when soldiers from the country’s ruling military junta opened fire on a sit-in camp in the heart of Khartoum. There are reports of people being burned alive, women raped, and bodies mutilated and dumped into the Nile.
