Require MP's to declare criminal acts before debating or legislating on them.
There have been recent examples of senior politicians admitting to taking Class A drugs in the past. This damages our trust for MPs who introduced legislation and made public statements at odds with their personal behaviour. MPs should declare past potential crimes to avoid conflict and hypocrisy.

Accountability
Holders of public office are accountable for their decisions and actions to the public and must submit themselves to whatever scrutiny is appropriate to their office.
Honesty
Holders of public office have a duty to declare any private interests relating to their public duties and to take steps to resolve any conflicts arising in a way that protects the public interest.
