For the BBC to maintain free TV licences for the over 75s
Between the Government and the BBC, a vital lifeline for the elderly is threatened with removal by an uncaring and heartless corporation, which should find other ways to make savings rather than hit the vulnerable members of our society.
Today (10th June 2019), the BBC announced the withdrawal of free TV licences for the over 75s, despite their own consultation showing great support for its retention.
