Petition Action

End the New Prohibition: Stop Government plans to set a minimum price on alcohol units

Additional Information

The Coalition government has announced plans, in line with the findings of just ONE recent study, that alcohol units should be fixed at a certain price, as mandated by government. We the undersigned believe not only that this is a tax on the poorest who will struggle to afford sensible enjoyment of alcohol, but that this is a cynical effort to raise tax revenue when the Coalition's 'Plan A' is failing.
