Introduce a plastic tax on all single use plastics to help eliminate the need.
Plastic pollution is becoming a serious problem with imminent implications on our planet.
Plastic free fruit and vegetables from the supermarket are more expensive than its counterpart thus making it less convenient for families.
By introducing a plastic tax supermarkets will be forced to hike up prices of single use plastics, with the hope of plastic free alternatives becoming cheaper and more accessible.
This in turn could help to eradicate all single use plastics from supermarkets.
