Petition Action

Make the tax returns of all UK MPs and candidates a matter of public record.

Petition Details

The integrity of the democratic system that is the foundation of all our freedoms and the values we hold above all else is permanently compromised. MPs need to demonstrate their loyalty to the electorate, not the highest bidder.

Additional Information

Anyone wishing to run for political office is a servant to the electorate and is accountable to the electorate. All tax returns during the time served as an MP will be made public and returns from 7 years previous must also be made publicly available when anyone registers as a candidate. This is an essential audit for the purpose of transparency, national security and public safety.
