Issue New Fishing Vessel Licenses For First Time Boat Owners

Petition Details

When these licenses and quotas were issued years ago before the common fisheries policy they cost the boat owners nothing and in today's industry people are cashing in on them with prices only going up, making it even harder for new young fishermen to gain their own vessel.

Additional Information

Now with BREXIT looming and the chance to leave the CFP surely something can be put in place for young fishermen to obtain a license and quota and keep the industry thriving, to put a stop these people and companies cashing in on licenses and quotas.
