No, to 49% private healthcare in NHS hospitals
The majority of people in England are not private patients. They pay for and use the NHS.
Allowing NHS hospitals and Consultants to increase private care quotas from 2% to 49% will undoubtedly result in less beds being available for NHS patients, less Consultant time available for NHS patients and an inevitable rise in waiting times.
This increase should not be allowed to go ahead.
