The Government should continue to subsidise the Licence Fee for the Over-75s.

Petition Details

In 1999, the Labour government opted to subsidies TV licences for the over-75s. The Tory government’s 2017 manifesto promised to protect this. But in 2015 the government passed the buck of paying it onto the BBC, something they are unable to do. The Government should reinstate the subsidy.
