No sitting MP should seek re-election due to their incompetence. The behaviour and ineptitude of the political elite has destroyed the reputation of Parliament, the apparent “cradle of democracy”. The notion that our elected officials are Members of Parliament out of a sense of civic duty has been lost in favour of the “career politician”.
