Discuss with professionals the needs of male victims of domestic abuse.
40% of domestic abuse victims are male, but funding doesn't represent this. This hasn't helped men to come forward to seek help. The Government need to understand the needs of male victims to represent them equally to female victims in facilities, law and funding.
The majority of male victim services rely on their own funding streams with donations and appeals as the government do not financially support them. Mankind Initiative is probably the biggest agency to support men, predominantly through their helpline which they fund themselves.
This is wrong and has to change. 40% of all victims are male (that we know about) and their needs should be reflected as such with equal funding for support.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about male victims of domestic abuse, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, we're not sure what changes to the law you want.
The Government recently published a position paper, which made a number of relevant commitments, including about additional funding. You can find out more here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
