Provide a Universal Basic Income to all UK citizens

Additional Information

All government welfare payments and the state pension should be replaced with a significant Universal Basic Income paid directly to each adult citizen of the United Kingdom.

This would reduce administrative costs, empower individuals and remove disincentives to work created by the benefit system.
