Stop people who are not working from driving a car.
People who don’t work have time to use public transport. We would see a massive reduction in cars on the road, big help to make our targets on pollution reduction. It would develop our public transport network and create jobs. Rural areas would once again see buses and trains, which can be electric.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Not everyone who is not in work is able to use public transport, so we're not sure exactly how you would like this to work.
If you'd like the UK Government to take action to reduce congestion on the roads and improve public transport in rural areas, you could start a new petition asking for that.
