Make non-recyclable plastic bags illegal
80% of litter in the sea is plastic.
100,000,000 animals die per year from eating plastic.
Only 1 in 200 plastic bags are being recycled.

Each hour 1.5 million pounds of litter is being thrown into the sea, so that makes it 14 billion pounds per year.
