Make our children safe by removing peadophiles out of the local area
It has come to our attention that convicted peadophiles are been left housed in the local area despite the offences and having lots of young children and 2 schools withing 2 minutes walk

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government is not directly responsible for rehousing prisoners when they complete their sentences.
Restrictions, such as having to stay away from schools or other areas with young children, can also be placed on sex offenders who are released on licence. This would be the responsibility of the courts and the Parole Board and not the UK Government or Parliament.
