Force tobacco companies to make their cigarettes from biodegradable materials.
Cigarette butts are arguably the number one polluter of our oceans.
This is a petiton to bring in new legislation, forcing tobacco companies to manufacture their cigarettes using biodegradable materials only.
In Brussels, on the 21st of April 2019, volunteers collected approximately 270,000 cigarette butts in just 3 hours. If that many cigarette butts can be found in a single city, how many could be found in all the oceans of our world?
