EU REFERENDUM BADLY FLAWED so NO MANDATE FOR ANY BREXIT so REVOKE ARTICLE 50

Petition Details

General Election FRANCHISE totally wrong for Referendum on UK/EU relationship. Scrutinised, debated and agreed by Parliament but still wrong. Special franchise needed. This is not about legalities but relevance, principle and common sense.

INFORMATION meagre for proper assessment of arguments.

Additional Information

Irish and Commonwealth, but not most EU, citizens in UK INCLUDED but many UK citizens, even taxpayers, in EU EXCLUDED - all also likely much affected. "Votes for Life" also in Tory Manifesto but lost in rush for a quick result. Young people also excluded.

LORDS Report 2009 UK Referendums - Significant drawbacks! Too often tactical. Stress good public information provision if to be fairly debated. Commend use of independent body.

Divided Party = easy tactical job/result not as hoped = FIASCO
