electric vehicles should make an audible sound when travelling over 5 mph
People with visual loss even if they have a guide dog take their lives in their hands whenever they want to cross a road putting a noise emitter that shuts off when speed reaches 12mph is ridiculous and this is what is being proposed by the manufacturers at the moment.60mph shut off would be better
Road workers often use the sound of the cars for their safety as do anyone visually handicapped
