Amend current laws covering smoking to include vaping and e cigarettes
The effects of vaping and e cigarettes have not been fully tested and understood and could potentially be as harmful as cigarettes particularly to people with health issues and the young. We call for an extension of smoking regulations to cover vaping and e cigarettes until effects are known
As vaping and e cigarettes are not as tightly regulated their use around vulnerable adults and children is not being considered

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you'd like the Government to introduce new laws on e-cigarettes. However, we aren't sure which of the current laws on cigarettes you'd like extended to cover e-cigarettes.
In particular, we aren't sure whether you'd like to make it illegal to make it illegal to use an e-cigarette in all public enclosed areas and workplaces, whether you'd like to introduce health warnings on packages, or whether you'd like other rules to apply to the purchase and use of e-cigarettes.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
