Mental health training must be mandatory for all managers
There is not enough support for mental health in the workplaces, the Government should make it mandatory that all employers have gone through mental health training. People can be embarrassed of telling their work place that they don't want to come in due to their Mental Health
I've seen a lot of situations where work places are not compassionate towards Mental Health. They see it as an "excuse" and "lazy" to not come to work. People have even been fired for taking a week off work due to depression/stress which the work place KNEW about.
Do they not realise that this could make things worse for the person? Not being able to pay their bills? We need work places to be more compassionate towards this.
