Fathers should face tougher penalties for avoiding payment of child maintenance
In my view single mothers are not being adequately financially supported by their ex partners in terms of child maintenance.
The law does not make it easy to access justice and the consequences of fathers refusing to pay are not strict enough.
I am a single parent who has been denied child maintenance and would like raise this issue on behalf and in support of other women who are in the same situation
