Tax the 17.4 million to pay for the cost of Brexit.
The 48.6 million who didn't vote for Brexit should not have to contribute to the cost and should be compensated for loosing their EU citizenship, freedom of movement, jobs, homes, workers rights etc.
This measure may help to bring the country together as Brexiters would get what they voted for and also have a chance to contribute towards it. Remainers would feel less hard done by if they didn't have to pay towards Brexit and were also able to claim compensation for everything they had lost.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because it's not the UK Government or Parliament's responsibility to tax people on the basis of their political beliefs. In any case, it would not be possible to do so because voting in the United Kingdom is secret.
