Reintroduce the scrappage scheme for aged diesel vehicles
Diesel vehicles emit polluting particulates which affect health outcomes to other road users including pedestrians and cyclists.
Diesel vehicles are acknowledged to be a major source of pollution in large cities and towns and they do need to be replaced with the advanced hybrid and electric vehicles now in production.
