Ban all single use plastic bags and water bottles & carry our own reusable ones.
So many of us feel guilty purchasing single use plastics, therefore, we should have the urge to counteract this. Do you care more about the added weight to your handbag/backpack or the future of the earths ecosystems and biodiversity? Lets stop being so dismissive when we can fuel the change needed
Between 4.8 and 12.7 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean each year.
There may now be around 5.25 trillion macro and microplastic pieces floating in the open ocean.
Plastics consistently make up 60 to 90% of all marine debris studied.
