Pensioners that pay for their care should not have to pay tax on their pension.

Petition Details

My mother pays £2600 per month for her care,this is all her pension. She pays over £400 in income tax on this pension and is 84 years of age. This action is scandalous she should not have to pay tax on her pension. While paying for her care.

Additional Information

The tax she pays would make a significant difference to her quality of life. She had a stroke almost 3 years ago and spends all day in a chair and all night in her bed.
