Petition Action

Re-introduce Dog Licenses in England as a requirement for ALL dog owners.

Petition Details

I have created this petition to ask the government to consider bringing Dog License back into force. England suffers a large number of dog attacks yearly, most of these offences go unpunished due to difficulties tracing owners. A Dog License would aid in ensuring irresponsible owners are punished.

Additional Information

A dog license would ensure all dogs are documented and should aid in tracing owners, hopefully leading to less attacks and fewer irresponsible owners.
NI all ready have dog license laws in place, which seem to be helping.
