Tax palm oil products, or restrict their availability
Using palm oil in many products is damaging forests and habitats around the world. Taxing or restricting availability will protect animals such as orangutans, as well as increase the biodiversity in certain forests.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
There are already petitions about palm oil. You might like to sign one of these petitions. We can't accept new petitions which call for the same action as an open petition. You're more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
