Make England Cricket a Crown Jewel Sport
England Cricket (men and women) should change to a Crown Jewel Category A event under the Ofcom Code on Sports and Other Listed and Designated Events. This would mean any England International Cricketing event MUST be shown on free-to-air channels.
A suitable agreement would be the World Cup final, any tests and The Ashes. We have just experienced the one of the greatest endings to a world cup of any sport and the time to expand the reaches of cricket is now. Strike while the iron is hot.
