Establish a Biometric ID system for all UK Citizens.

Petition Details

ID in case of health emergency.
Prove a right to access e.g. schools, maternity units, hospitals etc.
Help prevent abuse by requiring ID for all patients. (E.g. Victoria Climbie, Peter Connelly, Blake Fowler).
Assist monitoring registered offenders.

Additional Information

Additional info e.g. driving licences, medical alerts, donor, next of kin, security clearances.
Help prevent terrorism, organised crime, modern slavery, illegal immigration.
Enable UK citizens to prove their identity for their own needs, without the necessity to carry a physical ID source.
Assists in ease of travel both within the UK and abroad.
The UK Government will establish safeguarding laws. UK citizens could prove their identity at the reasonable request of an authorised civil servant.
