Ban single use plastics from major sporting events in the UK

Petition Details

After watching Wimbledon this year many people including myself noticed single use plastics being used by athletes and spectators. There must have been a massive amount of plastic waste at the end of the event. I believe single use plastics no longer have a place in any major sporting event.

Additional Information

Major UK events including Glastonbury Festival and the London Marathon have proved it's possible to go plastic free and save millions of plastic bottles, cups etc
